Icebox Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. cukes, sliced thin and unpeeled
    1 c. onions, sliced thin
    1 c. green peppers, sliced (can use 1/2 red)
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 c. vinegar
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Mix the first 4
    ingredients
    and refrigerate at least 2 hours.
    Drain off all excess liquid.
    Mix
    and
    pour the next 3 ingredients over the
    cukes.
    Leave
    in refrigerator overnight. Then put in jars and refrigerate.
    Will keep 6 to 9 months.
