Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 sticks butter
1/2 c. shortening
3 c. plain flour
3 c. sugar
5 eggs at room temperature
1 c. milk
1 Tbsp. vanilla flavoring
1 Tbsp. almond flavoring
1/2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

In a large mixing bowl, cream together butter and shortening. Add 1 cup sugar at a time and cream.
Add flour and milk and continue creaming.
When completely mixed, add baking powder and cream some more.
Add flavoring and mix well before pouring into a greased tube pan.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
