Sand Tarts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. margarine (room temperature)
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 egg
    3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped nuts (add as you roll into ball)
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Mix in other ingredients.
    Roll into balls.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 13 to 15 minutes, until lightly brown. Makes 3 dozen.
    Cool.
    Roll in powdered sugar.
