24 Hour Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 Tbsp. sugar
dash of salt
1 egg
1/2 pt. whipping cream
1 small can pineapple, drained
1 can fruit cocktail, drained
maraschino cherries, drained
1 can white grapes, drained
Preparation

Cook lemon juice, sugar, salt and egg all together over low heat until it thickens.
Cool.
Whip the cream until very stiff. Fold into the sauce mixture and add the fruit.
You may also add 1/2 package miniature marshmallows.
Refrigerate overnight.
