French Vanilla Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs, separated
    1/2 c. mild flavored honey
    4 c. light cream
    3 tsp. vanilla
    sweetener to taste
Preparation
    In a medium size bowl beat the yolks until smooth and lemony. Gradually add honey, beating until well blended and thick.
    In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff.
    Stir beaten eggs into the yolk and honey mixture.
    In a heavy bottom saucepan, combine cream and egg mixture.
    Cook, stirring constantly, over medium heat until the mixture thickens, about 15 to 20 minutes. Stir in sugar and vanilla while mixture is hot.
    Chill thoroughly before attempting to freeze.
