Old Fashioned Gingerbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 eggs, well beaten
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. molasses
1 c. boiling water
2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 Tbsp. soda
1/2 Tbsp. salt
2 Tbsp. ginger
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients together and set aside.
Cream shortening and sugar; add eggs.
Add dry ingredients and blend.
Pour boiling water over mixture and blend well.
Pour into well-greased oblong cake pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
