Mississippi Fried Chicken With Brown Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. drippings
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 1/2 c. chicken stock
    salt to taste
    freshly ground pepper
Preparation
    Heat oil gently and stir in flour. Stir continually and cook for several minutes. It should not be allowed to get lumpy. Add hot liquid slowly, still stirring, until desired consistency is reached. Other seasoning may be added.
