Dill Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 qt. vinegar
3 qt. water
1 c. ice cream salt
1 garlic bottom to each jar
1 Tbsp. turmeric powder
1 Tbsp. alum
2 Tbsp. dill to each jar
1 red pepper to each jar
Preparation

Soak cucumbers overnight in clear water; drain. Pack in jar with dill, pepper and garlic. Bring to a boil salt, turmeric powder, alum, vinegar and water. Pour over cucumbers and seal.
