Broccoli Cheese Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. oil
    3/4 c. chopped onion
    3 cans chicken broth or 6 cans water plus 6 tsp. instant bouillon
    8 oz. fine egg noodles
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    6 c. 1% milk
    1 lb. light Velveeta cheese, cubed
    pepper to taste
    3 pkg. chopped broccoli
Preparation
    In Dutch oven, heat oil.
    Add onion.
    Saute over medium heat for 3 minutes.
    Add water and chicken broth.
    Heat and stir until dissolved.
    Gradually add noodles and pepper.
    Cook, uncovered, 3 minutes.
    Stir.
    Add broccoli and garlic powder.
    Cook 4 minutes. Add milk and cheese; continue to cook until cheese is melted, stirring constantly.
    Makes 12 cups.
