Vidalia Onion Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 to 6 large Vidalia onions, sliced
    2 Tbsp. margarine or butter
    1 c. saltine cracker crumbs
    1 c. cheese cracker crumbs
    8 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Separate onion slices into rings.
    Saute in butter until tender.
    Mix crumbs together.
    Layer into casserole dish as follows:
    crumbs, onion, cheese, repeat layers.
    Mix soup and milk and pour over top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
