Stove Top Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 minced onion
    1 Tbsp. margarine
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1 Tbsp. cider vinegar
    5 medium potatoes (1/4-inch thick)
    1 c. boiling water
Preparation
    Cook the onion in the oil and butter in a heavy skillet until just beginning to brown.
    Stir in the vinegar and potatoes; pour in the boiling water.
    Cover skillet and simmer, stirring once or twice, until they are done, 20 to 30 minutes.
