Linguine With Tomatoes And Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 tsp. olive oil
    1 c. chopped onions
    1 clove garlic, finely chopped
    1 (1 lb.) can stewed tomatoes
    1 tsp. dried basil
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. evaporated skim milk
    8 oz. linguine, uncooked
    3/4 oz. grated Parmesan (3 Tbsp.)
Preparation
    Heat oil in large nonstick skillet over medium heat.
    Add onions and garlic.
    Cook 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
    Add stewed tomatoes, basil and pepper.
    Bring to boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer 10 minutes, uncovered.
    Stir in milk and continue to simmer 5 more minutes.
