Teske'S Tomato-Less Jambalaya - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. chicken, boned and sliced
    1 lb. ham, diced
    1/2 c. fresh green onion
    1 c. bell pepper
    2 c. rice
    Tabasco sauce
    1 lb. smoked sausage
    1 c. chopped onion
    2 cloves garlic
    2 c. parsley
    5 c. chicken broth
Preparation
    Brown the chicken.
    Drain the excess fat.
    Add both types of onions and the bell pepper.
    Saute until clear.
    Add the chicken broth, garlic, sausage, ham and parsley.
    Simmer 15 minutes.
    Add rice and bring the mixture to a slow boil.
    Reduce heat to low and cover.
    Cook on low for 15 minutes (45 minutes if using brown rice).
