Rice Pilaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. uncooked rice
    3 Tbsp. oil
    1/4 c. chopped green onions
    1 (3 or 4 oz.) can chopped mushrooms
    3 Tbsp. soy sauce
    2 c. hot water
Preparation
    Saute rice, stirring often in oil until brown in large frying pan.
    Stir in onions.
    Cook 2 minutes longer.
    Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Cover and simmer until rice is tender.
