Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. squash
    1 small onion
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. milk
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 c. grated cheese
    1 c. cracker crumbs
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Combine first two ingredients. Cook, drain and mash. Add remaining ingredients, reserving 1/2-cup cheese to sprinkle over top. Pour into buttered casserole. Bake at 375\u00b0 until firm and cheese is brown.
