Polish Sausage And Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 head cabbage, coarsely sliced or shredded
    1 small potato, peeled and diced
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. caraway seed (optional)
    1 large onion, thinly sliced
    1 1/2 lb. Polish sausage, cut into 1-inch pieces
    1 (14 oz.) can chicken broth
Preparation
    Place sliced cabbage in crock-pot.
    Toss with diced potato, salt and caraway seed.
    Add sliced onion and Polish sausage. Pour chicken broth over all; stir lightly.
    Cover and cook on low setting for 6 to 10 hours (high setting for 2 to 4 hours).
    Serve with boiled new potatoes.
    Makes 4 servings, 3 1/2 quarts.
