Applesauce Loaf - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter, softened
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ground cloves
1 1/4 c. applesauce
1 c. raisins
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar until light.
Beat in egg.
Stir together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt and cloves. Gradually add to creamed mixture.
Beat applesauce into batter. Stir in raisins and nuts.
Pour into greased and floured 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
Cool in pan for 10 minutes.
Remove from pan.
Cool on wire rack.
