Cabbage Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    3 Tbsp. uncooked rice
    1 medium onion, grated
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 tsp. salt
    pepper to taste
    12 large cabbage leaves
    2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    3 Tbsp. vinegar
    6 Tbsp. granulated sugar
Preparation
    Combine meat, rice, onion, water, salt and pepper.
    Drop cabbage leaves in boiling, salted water for a few minutes, until they are pliable.
    Drain and dry cabbage.
    Divide meat mixture into 12 parts.
    Place 1 part on each cabbage leaf.
    Roll leaves, tucking ends securely.
    Place rolls, seam side down, close together in baking dish.
