Georgia Roast Quail - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 small birds
    6 slices bacon
    1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Place slice of bacon around each bird.
    Add butter and bake at 425\u00b0 for 5 minutes.
    Reduce heat to 350\u00b0 and bake for 25 minutes longer.
    Baste with the drippings.
    Serve with mashed potatoes and brown gravy.
    Serves 6.
