Red Cinnamon Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (46 oz.) can pineapple-grapefruit or pineapple-orange juice
    1/2 c. red cinnamon candies
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 qt. ginger ale, chilled
Preparation
    Heat 1 cup juice in small saucepan.
    Add red candies, stirring over low heat until candy is dissolved.
    Cool.
    In a large pitcher or punch bowl, mix sugar and remaining juice with chilled red candies mixture.
    Chill.
    Add ginger ale just before serving.
