Polynesian Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. boneless chicken
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1 (16 oz.) can pineapple chunks
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    4 tsp. soy sauce
    dash of ground ginger
    1 bag frozen broccoli
    baby carrots and water chestnuts vegetables
Preparation
    Drain pineapple in measuring cup; add water to make 2/3 cup and set aside.
    Cut chicken in strips; brown in oil.
    Stir into reserved liquid, sugar, cornstarch, vinegar, soy sauce, ground ginger and garlic powder.
    Pour liquid into skillet with chicken. Add frozen vegetables and pineapple.
    Bring to boil; simmer for 5 minutes.
    Serve over cooked rice.
