Western Chili Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    2 medium cloves garlic, minced or 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    3 Tbsp. chili powder
    2 (15 1/2 oz.) cans kidney beans (undrained)
    1 c. onions, chopped
    1 can beef broth
    2 cans tomato soup
    1 soup can water
    3 c. cooked elbow macaroni (optional)
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
Preparation
    In a large, heavy pan, brown beef.
    Add onions and garlic; cook until tender (use shortening if necessary).
    Stir to separate meat.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Simmer 30 minutes.
    Stir occasionally.
