Chinese Chews - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs, beaten
    1 c. granulated sugar
    3/4 c. sifted flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. dates, chopped
    1 c. nuts, chopped
Preparation
    Sift together flour, salt and baking powder.
    Mix in order given.
    Spread in 10 x 15-inch pan and bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    While warm, cut in 2-inch squares, mold and roll in palm of hands to form balls.
    Dust in powdered sugar.
