Black Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 oz. pkg. black beans
    1 medium onion, finely chopped
    1 medium bell pepper, finely chopped
    4 sections garlic, finely chopped
    3/4 c. olive oil
    2 tsp. oregano
    3 bay leaves
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Wash and soak black beans overnight.
    Drain and add fresh water about 5 inches over beans.
    Add finely chopped onion, bell pepper and garlic, olive oil, oregano, bay leaves, salt and pepper.
    Cook on low heat slowly so no added water is necessary. Great as soup or goes well with picadilo and yellow rice.
