Elizabeth'S Gingerbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. flour
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. allspice
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. butter
    1/2 c. molasses
    2 c. buttermilk
    2 eggs
Preparation
    Sift together all dry ingredients. Cut in butter to make crumb mixture. Take out 1 cup crumbs and set aside. Add molasses, buttermilk and eggs. Mix well and pour into a lightly greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Sprinkle reserved crumb mixture on top. Bake at 25 minutes at 350\u00b0 or until done.
