Italian Sausage Sandwiches - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. bulk Italian sausage
1 (8 oz.) can pizza sauce
1 (4 oz.) can mushroom stems, drained
4 French-style rolls, split
1 green pepper
6 oz. Mozzarella cheese
Preparation

In pan, cook sausage until no pink remains.
Drain fat.
Stir in pizza sauce and mushrooms.
Heat through.
Hollow out bottom halves of rolls.
Spoon in meat mixture.
Top with pepper rings and cheese.
Cover with bun tops.
Place sandwiches in a baking pan or sheet.
Cover tightly with foil and heat in a 375\u00b0 oven for 15 minutes or until cheese melts.
Makes 4 servings.
