Little Indian Dish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 to 1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
    1 small can stewed tomatoes
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 onion, chopped
    1 small green pepper, chopped
    2 or 3 Tbsp. catsup
    1 to 2 tsp. chili powder
    2 to 3 c. cooked rice
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Saute beef, onion and green pepper until meat is done.
    Add mushroom soup and stewed tomatoes and cook on low heat until onion and green pepper is done.
    Add cooked long grain rice and blend well.
    Pour into casserole dish, then garnish top with grated cheese.
    Place in a 400\u00b0 oven until cheese melts.
    Also good warmed over.
    Add the catsup and chili powder when adding the soup and stewed tomatoes.
