Red Pepper Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    24 sweet red peppers (about 8 c.)
    7 medium onions
    3 c. sugar
    3 c. vinegar
    2 Tbsp. salt
Preparation
    Cut peppers and onions in half lengthwise, slice thinly.
    Or grind peppers and onions, reserving juices.
    In saucepan, combine juices, peppers, onions, sugar, vinegar and salt.
    Simmer for 30 minutes.
    Pour into hot, clean jars.
    Seal.
    Makes 10 half-pints.
