Light 'N Easy Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    4 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    In a bowl combine flour, baking powder and salt.
    Cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse corn meal.
    Add milk and stir until blended.
    Place dough on lightly floured surface. Knead lightly.
    Roll dough to a 9-inch square. Place dough into ungreased 9-inch square pan.
    Cut through dough in squares. Bake at 425\u00b0 for 15 to 18 minutes.
    When baked, biscuits will separate at cut lines.
