Dressed-Up Burgers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground chuck
    salt to taste
    4 slices sharp cheese
    oil for skillet
    1 can tomato sauce
Preparation
    Form beef into 8 thin patties.
    Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Lay cheese slices on 4 patties.
    Top with remaining 4 patties and pinch edges together.
    Put in hot skillet.
    Brown patties on one side, turn and while this side is browning, add tomato sauce. Simmer 8 to 10 minutes, basting occasionally.
    Serve piping hot.
