Fried Whole Baby Okra - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. young okra
    1/2 c. cornmeal
    dash of red pepper
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. black pepper
Preparation
    Wash thoroughly.
    Cut off stem end and tip of okra pods.
    Cook in boiling, salted water for 8 minutes.
    Drain and dry completely. Roll in seasoned cornmeal.
    Fry in deep fat.
    Serve with sliced pork and fresh tomatoes.
