Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. corn meal
1/2 c. flour
1 chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped green onions
1 egg
1/8 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. soda
1 c. buttermilk or milk
4 Tbsp. oil

Preparation

Mix all ingredients and drop by spoonfuls in deep oil and fry until brown.
