Pralines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. corn syrup
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 c. pecans
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Brown 1 cup sugar in skillet slowly.
    Bring to a boil the remaining 2 cups sugar, salt and milk.
    Boil 2 or 3 minutes.
    Add caramelized sugar and boil to soft ball stage.
    (Test in cold water.)
