Mexican Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. corn meal
    1 c. cream-style corn
    1 c. sour cream
    2/3 c. oil
    pinch of soda
    2 Tbsp. chopped pepper
    1 c. chopped onion
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 tsp. salt
    1 small can pimento pepper
    1 tsp. baking powder
    2 jalapeno peppers
    1 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients, except the cheese, together and pour 1/2 of the batter in 9-inch iron skillet and cover with 1/2 of the cheese.
    Pour remaining batter on the cheese and top this with remaining cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until done.
    Serves 6.
