Country Chicken Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 carrots, sliced
2 stalks celery, chopped
1 medium onion
3 Tbsp. parsley flakes
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. basil
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. leaf thyme
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas (optional)
2 to 3 lb. chicken pieces
4 c. water
1 c. noodles
Preparation

Place all ingredients in crock-pot, except noodles, in order listed.
Cover and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours or high 4 to 6 hours.
One hour before serving, remove chicken and debone. Return to crock-pot and add noodles.
Turn to high, cover and cook 1 hour.
May thicken with cornstarch and water.
