Nine Layered Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce, chopped
    1 c. diced green pepper
    1 c. diced celery
    1 c. diced green onions
    1 pkg. frozen English peas, thawed
    1 1/4 c. salad dressing
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    6 to 8 oz. grated Cheddar cheese
    bacon bits (fried bacon), crumbled
Preparation
    Add in large bowl in order listed. Refrigerate 8 to 24 hours before serving. Toss just before serving.
