Miss Maggie'S Fruiti Fruiti Sherbet - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. gelatin
    2 Tbsp. cold water
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. water
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    juice of 1 orange
    2 c. crushed pineapple
    1/2 c. maraschino cherries, sliced
    2 mashed bananas
    3 egg whites, stiffly beaten
    1/2 c. white corn syrup
Preparation
    Mix gelatin with cold water
    to soften.
    Add sugar to 1 cup boiling water, boil 5
    minutes.
    Add gelatin to hot syrup. Cool. Add salt, lemon juice and orange juice to syrup.
    Cool. Add pineapple,\tcherries
    and
    mashed
    bananas.
    Prepare
    egg whites and white corn syrup.
    Fold
    in fruit mixture.
    Pour in ice cream freezer.
    Freeze as you would any ice cream.
