Sesame Chicken Brochettes - cooking recipe

3 Tbsp. soy sauce
2 Tbsp. sesame seed
2 Tbsp. plum preserves
1 Tbsp. dry sherry
2 tsp. oriental sesame oil
1 tsp. grated pared fresh ginger
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 lb. boneless, skinned chicken breasts
4 green onions
Preparation

Stir together soy sauce, sesame seed, preserves, sherry, oil, ginger and garlic in a medium bowl.
Cut chicken into about 30 pieces, about 3/4-inch square.
Cut green onions into 1 1/2-inch pieces.
Add chicken and green onions to soy mixture.
Cover; refrigerate 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
Soak 10 bamboo skewers in water.
