Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. Crisco
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 oz. red food coloring
2 oz. water
2 Tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. salt
2 c. sifted plain flour
1 c. buttermilk
1 Tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. soda
Preparation

Cream the shortening and sugar.
Add eggs and food coloring. Add water.
Add vanilla, flour, cocoa and salt together alternately with milk.
Beat 10 minutes.
Last, fold in thoroughly the soda dissolved in vinegar.
Bake 30 to 40 minutes at 350\u00b0.
