Steamed Fish With Dau See (Black Beans) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 medium size fish (mullet, kumu)
1 Tbsp. shoyu
3 Tbsp. dau see, washed and mashed
1 stalk green onion, chopped
1 piece ginger, chopped
1 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. cooking oil
1 Tbsp. liquor
1/2 tsp. sugar
Preparation

Arrange
fish
in
a bowl.
Mix
remaining
ingredients together; sprinkle over fish.
Steam for 15 to
20\tminutes or more, depending on size of fish.
When fish
is
cooked, drain the liquid and thicken with cornstarch.
If
necessary,
add a small amount of water.
Transfer fish to a platter; pour gravy over. Garnish with Chinese parsley.
