Fruit-Nut Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. oil
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. (7 1/4 oz. pkg.) dates, chopped
    1 c. chopped nuts
    2 c. shredded coconut
Preparation
    Mix and sift first four ingredients.
    Make a well in mixture and add in order, oil, eggs and vanilla.
    Beat until smooth.
    Add dates, nuts and coconut.
    Turn into greased shallow baking dish (12 x 7 x 2-inch).
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
    Cut into bars while warm and remove from pan when cooled.
