Bran Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    5 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. pumpkin spice or cinnamon
    2 tsp. salt
    4 eggs, beaten
    1 c. shortening
    1/2 c. oil
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 qt. buttermilk
    1 (15 oz.) Raisin Bran
    wheat germ (optional)
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients.
    Store, covered, in refrigerator up to 8 weeks.
    Bake in muffin tin at 400\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
