Crushed Pear Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can pears
    1 (16 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. lime Jell-O
    1 pt. Cool Whip (16 oz.)
Preparation
    Drain pears, reserving 1 1/2 cups of juice.
    Mash pears with fork.
    Heat juice to boiling, then add lime Jell-O.
    Stir until dissolved.
    Add softened cream cheese.
    Stir in mashed pears. When all is cooled, add the Cool Whip.
    Pour into a large mold and chill until set.
