Pear Ginger Tart - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 ripe pears
    1 1/4 c. low-fat milk
    1/4 c. sugar
    2 egg whites
    1 egg yolk
    1 Tbsp. chopped crystallized ginger
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. flour
    3 Tbsp. sliced almonds
    1 Tbsp. confectioners sugar
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Spray a 10-inch quiche dish with Pam. Pare and slice pears.
    In blender, place milk, sugar, egg whites, yolk, ginger, vanilla, salt and flour.
    Blend.
    Arrange pears in a dish.
    Pour batter over them.
    Top with almonds.
    Bake 1 hour or until knife comes clean.
    Sprinkle with confectioners sugar when cooled.
