Chicken And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 whole chicken, cut up
    2 c. rice, uncooked
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 small to medium onion, chopped
    2 1/2 soup cans water
    1 to 2 pkg. dry onion soup mix
Preparation
    Mix rice, soup, water and onion.
    Spread in bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan or small roaster.
    Skin chicken; rinse and roll in dry onion soup mix.
    Place chicken pieces on top of rice mixture. Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
    This serves a lot of folks!
    Easy and very good.
    Some friends have substituted the chicken with pork chops with good results.
