Tennessee Beef Skillet - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    3/4 c. chopped onion
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up and drained
    1 (15 oz.) can kidney beans (undrained)
    1/2 c. uncooked rice
    1/2 c. water
    3 Tbsp. chopped green pepper
    1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
    1/2 tsp. garlic salt
    3/4 c. shredded cheese
    corn chips
Preparation
    In a skillet, fry ground beef and onions.
    Drain.
    Stir in remaining ingredients except cheese and corn chips.
    Bring to a boil; reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Serve over corn chips, then top with cheese.
