Cheese Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. flour, sifted
1 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
2 tsp. red pepper
1 lb. butter or margarine
Preparation

Sift together flour and red pepper.
Put cheese and margarine through food chopper.
Gradually work flour into cheese and shortening until smooth, if possible.
Pinch off pieces and roll into marble size balls.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Center each one with a small piece of pecan.
Press down to anchor the nut.
Bake in 400\u00b0 oven for about 9 minutes.
May be made ahead and frozen.
