Baked Chili Rellenos - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    8 oz. seeded green chillies, canned, split lengthwise, peeled
    1-1/2 c. grated cheddar cheese
    1-1/2 c. milk
    1/4 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    4 beaten eggs
Preparation
    Brown meat and onion; drain well.
    Add salt and pepper.
    Put half chilies in a 6x10 baking dish.
    Sprinkle with cheese, add meat mixture.
    Add remainder of chilies and cheese.
    Combine milk, flour, salt and eggs.
    Pour batter on chili meat mixture.
    Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until inserted knife comes out clean.
    Cut into squares.
