Refrigerator Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. chopped onions
    1 c. green pepper, chopped
    1 c. white vinegar
    1 Tbsp. mustard seed
    1 Tbsp. celery seed
    2 c. sugar
    7 medium cukes, sliced thin
    1 Tbsp. kosher salt
Preparation
    Mix first 6 ingredients together and set overnight.
    Pour salt over cukes and let stand 1/2 hour.
    Wash with cold water and drain.
    Add to the mixture.
    Keep in glass container such as large canning jars or large glass jars.
    Let stand 24 hours before using.
    Great served with any type meats roasted, broiled or grilled.
    Can be used for 6 months.
