Hamburger French Onion Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 lb. hamburger
    2 medium-sized onions, sliced thin
    1 can beef consomme or stock
    1 c. water
    2 beef bouillon cubes
Preparation
    Brown butter in the bottom of your soup kettle.
    Add the hamburger and fry until very brown and well separated.
    Add slices of onions, consomme, water and bouillon cubes; simmer for 30 minutes.
    Serve with squares of buttered toast topped with Parmesan cheese.
